EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
The Moon Room – Pre-Toddlers
*Based on the book, Goodnight Moon, written by Margaret Wise Brown.
Pre-Toddlers at The Morgan School are on their own individual schedules in the beginning; established through communication between parents and the caregivers at The Morgan School. A typical day in the Pre-Toddlers room is made up of eating, sleeping, playing, mobility and cuddling. Sign language is taught and used in the classroom to help foster infant communication. Each infant will receive a daily report, informing the parent about their child’s day and providing parents with important information on feeding, diapering and sleeping times. Before moving to the Toddler room, Pre-Toddlers will transition to one nap a day and using a sippy cup at meals.
