EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Character Education

Included in our curriculum is a Character Education Program designed to encourage children to be responsible citizens and lifelong problem solvers — important skills that lead to success in both elementary school and in life. A new character trait is introduced each month. These monthly character words are introduced to the children with a story. Children, ages 3 through PreK, attend a Character Education Assembly each month. Children at the assembly listen to a story and then work together on a large group activity to reinforce that character word. Younger children listen to a story in their room and participate in the same activity with their class.
